The Urgent Need and Our Solution
In rural Haiti, many families are facing deep poverty and difficult decisions about how to care for their children. Some families feel they have no choice but to send their children away in order for them to receive food, education, and support.
At FARM Haiti, we believe that whenever possible, children should be supported within their families and communities. That’s why we are working urgently to provide food, education, and medical care that helps keep families together.

FARM Haiti is breaking the cycle of poverty by investing in both farmers and the next generation.
We equip families with sustainable farming methods, while also focusing on children through youth gardens, feeding programs, medical outreaches, Bible studies, and school sponsorships.
We are not just growing crops—we are raising leaders and strengthening communities through Christ.

- 210 Discipleship Meetings in 2025

I Can Still See Him Sitting There
Living in Haiti for the past 13 years, I have witnessed many hardships, but none have affected me as deeply as this moment.
Billy is one of our youth gardeners. For over a year, he faithfully worked his small plot at FARM Haiti. Every day, he came to care for his garden and when he finished, he would often come help the FARM Haiti staff water, weed, or transplant.
But this day was different.
Billy came to his garden like he always did, but instead of joining me, he sat about 20 feet away from where I was working. Quiet. Distant. Not himself. He played with a small red rag in his hands and just sat there.
I asked him twice what was wrong. “Nothing,” he said both times.
He stayed there until I finished working. And when I looked up again… he was gone.
Later that day, I learned the truth. The other boys had been teasing him because his mother was planning to send him to an orphanage, not because she didn’t love him, but because she could no longer provide for him.
I cried for two days. I brought it before the Lord and asked, “What can we do?”
Out of that moment came a vision to provide food, education, biblical training and medical support for children like Billy. We are calling it Grenn Jodi A, Lidè Demen – Seeds Today, Leaders Tomorrow.
