Jhanson Fonrose, Haitian Director
Jhanson oversees the daily operations of FARM Haiti, leading our Haitian staff and helping manage the farm, facilities, and ministry projects. He also plays an important role in Farming God's Way training and coordinating visiting teams. Jhanson has been working alongside Mary since the very beginning of FARM Haiti. Growing up in the Pignon area, he had a desire to learn and develop new skills. What began as a role translating for Mary has grown into much more. Through years of hands-on experience, hard work, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities, Jhanson has developed into a capable and trusted Haitian leader.
Zacharie Bien-Aime, Agronomist
Zacharie earned his five-year degree in agronomy from Quisqueya University in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. A gifted teacher with a passion for agriculture, he is FARM Haiti's lead trainer for Farming God's Way. Zacharie is a trusted agricultural advisor, generously sharing his knowledge and experience to help guide our farming projects. Zacharie is married and the father of five children. Outside of farming, he enjoys dancing! His passion for agriculture is reflected in his favorite advice: “Put your hands in the dirt for a better tomorrow.” One of his favorite Bible verses is Psalm 23:1: “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.”
Bertrand Eustache, Agronomist
Bertrand earned his five-year degree in agronomy from Université Polyvalente d'Haïti. He brings both dedication and a joyful spirit to his work at FARM Haiti. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing things well, Bertrand takes pride in maintaining high standards in everything he does. Bertrand is rarely seen without a smile and has a wonderful way of sharing the joy of the Lord with those around him. He enjoys playing soccer and dancing—and sometimes even dances while he works! His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 37:4: “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desire.”
Erick Valmir
Erick has been a valued member of the FARM Haiti team since its inception. Strong, hardworking, and dependable, he tackles even the most physically demanding tasks with remarkable ease. He enjoys working with his hands, especially tending the gardens, and specializes in making compost to improve the soil. Erick isn't shy about sharing his opinions and often offers thoughtful advice and practical solutions. Erick is married and the father of a teenage son. He believes strongly in the importance of education, and his favorite advice is, “Education is the key to life.” One of his favorite Bible passages is Philippians 2:1–2, which encourages believers to love one another and work together with one mind and purpose.
Kerwinn St Fleur
Kerwinn was part of Mary's original youth group and has grown into a valued and trusted member of the FARM Haiti team. Hardworking and resourceful, he has a natural gift for figuring out how things work. With a mind for engineering and mechanics, Kerwinn can build and fix just about anything! Mary frequently turns to him for advice on projects, knowing he will offer practical, creative solutions. Kerwinn has a strong understanding of traditional farming and isn't afraid of physically demanding work. He enjoys planting trees, working with tools, and playing checkers. He has a passion for mechanics and dreams of someday operating heavy equipment.
Alinx Marcelus, Agronomy Technician
Alinx is a skilled and dedicated agronomy technician who plays an important role in FARM Haiti's nursery operations. He has a special talent for planting seeds, caring for young plants, and producing healthy seedlings ready for transplanting. With a keen eye for detail and a patient, careful approach, Alinx takes pride in giving each seedling the attention it needs to grow strong. His work is an important part of FARM Haiti's efforts to restore the land through reforestation and help farmers grow productive gardens. From the smallest seed to a thriving young plant, Alinx helps lay the foundation for a fruitful harvest and a greener future.
