Statements of Faith
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith (what we believe) and life (how to live).
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As adopted believers, we are sons and daughters of the Father, brothers and sisters of Christ the Son and priests and temples of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles and teachings, in His innocent suffering and death as the price of our salvation, in His physical resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His coming again in power and glory.
- We believe in the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, who as Comforter and Counselor builds holiness, faith, love, hope, forgiveness and oneness in the body of Christ, the Christian Church.
- We believe that human beings were created in the image of God but fell into sin and are therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the work of the Holy Spirit can our salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
- We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
